My name is Nicola Joseph, I am a registered Health Visitor and Paediatric Nurse. All health visitors are qualified nurses or midwives, with additional training in child health, health promotion and education. I have gained my years of qualified experience in both NHS hospitals and community settings. I have also gained valuable experience before qualifying from working in nurseries and childminding.

I now work exclusively in the community either for the NHS or independently and devote all my time working with families. With the specific aim of promoting healthy lifestyles and enhancing the emotional, physical, and mental well-being of as many people as possible.

I am registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council who demand the highest standards of clinical practice, and I regularly undertake professional training to update my practice and skills. I am a member of the Royal College of Nursing.

 I am passionate about the benefits of health visiting, and believe that with support you will feel in control of everything you do.
